Design by Foster & Partners.
By Illuminating Experiences.

"The smallest details of a building, from door handles to taps, are often taken for granted, but it is these small elements with which building's users have direct contact." - Foster & Partners.

Foster & Partners realizes the importance of details and how they tie into an overall design. This idea is evident in the Ilium Pendant Light, which features a transparent pyrex glass outer diffuser and an opal white inner diffuser. The glass emerges from an anodized aluminum body and even disperses light, creating ambient illumination. The Ilium Pendant Light is finished to the very last detail.

Originally conceived for the Posthaus restaurant in St Moritz, the Ilium light concept was extended to a family of lights for Italian lighting manufacturer Nemo and launched at the Milan Furniture Fair in April 2007.
