I now own 4 Ogus Lamps: 2 Floor 48", 2 Table 15", and 1 Table 32"! They are built to Museum quality, are elegant, and unique in style. They are expensive, but definitely worth the prices!

The design is awesome! The look is thoroughly hip and could be mistaken for Italian design so it's refreshing that it's from our neighbors in Canada. But why make a lamp like this (design and price point) that can't be dimmed? Could easily have been 5 stars but for the dimmer.

This is a beautiful contemporary lamp, extremely solid and well thought out. We bought the larger size glass, and it makes quite a statement standing on the table. It gives a nice soft light, not suitable for reading, but great for ambiance. The base is extremely well-made and heavy enough to support the glass without a problem. Ships from Canada in two packages, quite well-packed.

The lamp is decorative but does not emit much accent light. It is also smaller than I had imagined it from the pictures on the website. On the positive side, it is very well-made.

Although slightly more imposing than I envisioned, this is a beautiful lamp -- simple, stylish and useful. Noteworthy but not obtrusive, it provides ample light and an interesting contemporary profile in a room that is furnished in "eclectic" style. We've not owned it long enough to comment on durability, but it appears thoughtfully constructed and easy to maintain.

The light is very good quality. The glass is very sturdy as well as the metal base. The light is as beautiful in person as it is in pictures. The glass gives off a soft illumination and overall the light has a nice, modern look. Definitely good to accent a modern room!
