We used this product over a pool table, and it gives plenty of light, the silk thread has a really interesting effect as you move around the table, and it is a nice relief from the "typical" billiards light - beautiful in a modern home.

we used the diffuser, which I think is a must, I just wish it was detailed moer nicely, to put it on par with the rest of the fixture, and I also wish there were more color options with the silk thread.

If your area that you want to place this light in is a small area then I would recommend this beautiful light. We wanted to place over a dining table that would seat 8-10 people. The light was too small for a table of that size--even with 8 seated chair option.

Hate I had to send back because the light was a real eye catcher.. Ylighting made the return process easy--no problems..

We love our new Clavius suspension lamp. The soft light it casts is soothing, the fabric is pretty and it works well over our kitchen counter. One small critique. I wish the diffuser were seated differently. It somehow doesn't feel like it belongs in the fixture because of the way you insert it.

As chic and cool as it looks online. We were torn between the white and the tobacco version because we've got medium dark wood floors in our apartment and similarly-dark wood dining table...but because everything else is white in the living/dining/kitchen area, we went with tobacco and it is a beauty. Looks slightly orange-y when not lit (probably because of the setting) but looks stunning when the light is peeping through the threads.

The other thing we weren't initially sure about was the diffuser, which looks kind of flimsy and cheap (the metal bits that keep it in place are as thin as paper clips so you cant' really replace it with something more substantial). But I had the Lee's people take the diffuser off and it didn't look too bad like that either. So we've got the diffuser for now but could always remove it if it bothers us.

I used the tobacco color and there is nice movement as you walk around the fixture. I recommend getting the diffuser to hide the light source.
