Looked for a simple modern light fixture with no ornamentation. This was perfect and fit well in a small bathroom. The fixture was supposed to have been vertical on either side of the mirror, but there wasn't enough room. Horizontally above the mirror works fine and gives off plenty of light.

The light mounts about 50% off the vertical center in the side profile. There are better photo if you goto Oxygen's website.

I searched long and hard for the perfect linear fixture. The option by Artemide isn't available. There's another option by Aamsco called, Alinea. It can be ordered with an LED that's more expensive than the fixture. Build LLC does a good recap here: http://blog.buildllc.com/2008/02/lighting/. Unfortunately, the Alinea takes their proprietary bulb. Don't want that hassle.

I'm fussy/critical of build quality and this fixture exceeds my expectation. The diffuser is a nice touch. This will be easy to clean.

I realize it may not be possible to make/take detailed photographs of. Your entire catalog, but with the popularity of this product, you and your customers will benefit. This was not the only contender in my search for a simple, linear light. I took the "risk" by reading this fixture's glowing reviews. I'm happy with my purchase, but seriously, please get bigger, more detailed photos.

I was hoping this would be a simple solution to lighting around a powder room mirror, and it could work; the only issue is the angle of the mount causes it to become a feature instead of being hidden. I needed something completely simple and streamlined.

The Zenith Vanity Light was ordered to create a lit 3-Way Mirror for a Men's Clothing Store. The fixture has clean modern lines that blend well w/ the new store decor. Dimensionally, it works very well as vertical lighting on either side of a mirror. Very little space lost for the fixture. Frosted lense adds a nice finish.

This light is simple and well conceived. Its construction (made in China) is of reasonably good quality, though the piece I installed had a slack end that needed some attention. The tolerance for wiring behind the electric box is minimal, leaving no room to cover a rough opening larger than the box itself. It is necessary to allow sufficient clearance between the fixture and any horizontal surface above - shelf, ceiling - to get good purchase on a screw driver in order to secure the fixture cover to its base. It is also a bit of a challenge to find a 34" 21w T5 florescent tube for the 36" fixture, especially in a warm color. Once installed, the light looks good.

It's relatively hard to find vertical lights of varying lengths that fit the size of your medicine cabinets, are damp rated, well designed, and reasonably priced. These Zenith lights are some that fit the bill in these respects. I'm pleased with the purchase. You will be too.

The fit and finish of this fixture is reasonable but not at the highest level. The mfr was responsive with a replacement ballast when one was required. Removing the diffuser and installing the bulb is a bit of a tricky operation.

This light is great, has a slim profile and is made with high quality materials. The T5 bulbs it uses is not as standard but they are more efficient and better performing fluorescent lights. This isn't the usual flickering, "is this light really on" type of fluorescent lights. For our smallish bathroom, it provides more than enough light. As another reviewer mentioned, one con if you're mounting them vertically is that you see 3 exposed screws on the metal base. It isn't too noticeable as they are still flush but if you're observant, you'll see them. I was bummed that the ballasts don't recommend putting the higher output T5 bulbs into them. It's probably a fire hazard as they draw more wattage than it is rated for. But as mentioned previously, the amount of light is more than sufficient unless your bathroom is huge. Note that this light has the bulb at an angle from the base. Oxygen Lighting seems to have a new model where it is aligned which would probably have been better for mounting vertically. Sadly YLighting did not carry that light at the time and we needed the lights right away for our home remodel. I did not find any other online retailer that carried that light either and the manufacturer, Oxygen Lighting was impossible to find someone to talk to.

This is a nice lighting fixture, albeit pricey. You should keep in mind that it is meant to be put up a slight angle from the wall (i.e. if horizontal, it slants down and if vertical, it slants in). This is not a big issues but if you are putting them up vertically, then you can see 3 exposed screwes on the outer casing. The specs have a very very small image highlighting this.

buying vanity light, i ran into a typical bathroom light fixture problem—the plastic look. but at least this light is slim so the negative is not too outstanding. i have purchased another bathroom light before and had to return it due to defect issue and also the plastic look is just too unbearable (i am still waiting for refund from Ylighting). when i received this vanity light, i was not disappointed but i have to say, do pay attention to the junction box area, it is bigger than the diagram shown, it is pretty eye-catching and you it is not easy to recess.

Bought the light for it's clean lines, simple shape, and quality expressed in other posts. The quality is good; solid metal components make up the body and end caps. Installation was easy, although make sure your J box is a small 2x3 because the fixture fits tight to the edges. I had to trim off part of the J box and mud over the edge a bit to fully conceal the box. Overall the light is great, our one complaint is it takes about 2 seconds for it to come on, which while common with fluorescent lights does feel like a second to long when you are used to incandescent. We have the 48" version so shorter versions might have shorter start-up time.

This fixture is solid, as opposed to the cheap, stamped-out sheet metal on some fixtures. Though it is only 28 watts, it lights up the entire bathroom with a bright, even light. It replaces a fixture that had three 60-watt incandescent bulbs and this is much brighter.

It was simple to install, especially because the mounting plate allows the fixture to be supported while the wire connection are being made. I was able to install it with no extra hands helping me.
