I have this lamp on my bedside table, and the light is excellent for reading. It is easily adjusted for height. I often turn it on low for accent lighting in the evening and high for reading. I use the power outlet sometimes to charge my phone.

I use these lamps as bedside lights in my master bedroom and the guestroom. They don't take up too much room on the bedside tables, have two light levels, and provide good reading light as well as mood light when turned on at the lower level. They are very pretty and quite perfect for the purpose.
