The Boring Accent Task lamp looks and fits great on my Bensen Homework desk. It is stylish and functional. However, after a long search for the perfect lamp, I was disappointed to find that it was back ordered for months. Ordered it last summer and it just arrived on Halloween. The only other disappointment is that the bulb is not as bright as I had hoped. It came with a frosted bulb and I intend to replace it with a clear one to see if that increases the lumens. I was not sure about the outlet on the base--but turned out to be very convenient for recharging devices. All in all, the lamp is a keeper. Good purchase!

Please don't be confused by the name! It is a truly an interesting lamp. Stylish and solid. I imagine the name was decided because of the cylindrical shape of the base. It looks great on my desk.

Arrived without any scratches. The head has a 360 pivot which is perfect for adjustment. The two light settings are sufficient but a dimmer would've put it over the top. That said, I'm satisfied.

Excellent design, value and flexibility for the price. Appears well made and durable. Only negative that it does not have built in dimmer.
