This lamp is taller than envisioned so that it can be used on a low table with good lighting effect. The price is very reasonable for the quality it offers.

We use our newest Grid Lamp for low level lighting while watching TV. The pull chain on the Grid Lamp is very easy to use and find in a darkened room. We also have 2 other Grid Lamps in our bedroom. They are the easiest bedroom lamps to use that we've ever owned. Just grab the pull chain from the bed instead of having to search for a switch under a lamp shade. These lamps look terrific and are highly recommended.

I was looking for a simple modern lamp for a side table in my office, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. The grid lamp looks great and was tall enought to give the look of a floor lamp on a small side table next to a daybed. It is a nice contrast to a lot of wood I have in the room. It was also came quickly and was easy to put together. The only bummer is that I saw a knock off cheaper at a home goods store this week.

I used this lamp on a bedside table for reading and perfect. It throws light perfect for reading, not just downward. The chain is easy to find in the dark and it has a regular socket so an eco friendly bulb can be used. It was easy to assemble, too.
