I bought this lamp for my home office desk. The orange gives a pop of color. The design of the Link Medium Table Lamp allows more flexibility to move the light source over more desk surface. It's convenient to turn the light on from the light source rather than having to reach the base of the lamp. I love the design and the look of this lamp and highly recommend it!

This is a very nicely assembled lamp. The machine work on the parts is excellent, and i had no issues with tightness, as some have noted. The articulation of the lamp is smooth and very cool.The light is good, and it looks spectacular in white in my generally white office. In the dark, it looks a bit like a UFO - to me, a positive.

The only caveat might be that although the lamp was supposedly made in the USA (yay!) but the base was made in China (boo, hiss.) That isn't justified IMHO.

Love my green medium Link. It's stable and has a tactile rubberized coating that surprised me, but, ooo, I like it--it feels friendly rather than cold. I use the lower of its two settings for reading in bed. It casts a broad glow--if your sleepy partner is light-sensitive, it might not be your best choice. How delightful that the switch is in inner ring of the head! I needn't reach far to turn it off as I fall asleep. There's a key hidden in the base, to adjust tension in the joints if need be. I'm so pleased with it.

I am using the Link table lamp for use with my sewing machine. It gives off a great amount of light, does not get hot, and looks absolutely fabulous!

I was sceptical about replacing my beloved Tizio with this. I thought it might look a bit "industrial" even in my informal living room. I also wondered about the quality of the LED lighting, which I hadn't experienced. But my orange Link looks splendid next to its new Eames chair friend and distributes light in a very pleasing way. It's also quite well made and something of a bargain at this price. YLighting service was beyond outstanding: less than 48 hours after I clicked "submit" it was at my door.

This is a great lamp with a very sleek, thin design. Looks great on a desk or next to the bed. The lower of the 2 light settings is great for nighttime reading, and the head flips up and down so you can point it away from your face. My only (small) issue is the hinges of the lamp restrict the flexibility of the lamp, so you can't always pull it down as far as you'd like. For example, if you were using it at a writing desk, it would be hard to get the head within 12 inches of the desktop unless the head is stretched very far away from the base - probably not an issue for desk use. Highly recommended!

The color of the the light is cool. The light is not bright enough to be the only task lamp my desk. Also the lamp was very stiff. Niether compare the FLOS Kelvin LED which moves like a dream and has wonderful light quality to match.

With a duck-footed base and a manipulable neck, this is a great lamp for reading in bed and/or desk work. The base is heavy enough for stability, the LED-laden ring that constitutes the lighting source is innovative and very effective -- 2 levels of brightness, little glare, but lots of illumination. The lamp colors are pure, saturated and satisfying, and the overall appearance of the lamp is quite pleasing. I'm delighted with it.

The lighting from this lamp is pristine, so is the design.

The only change I would make is to have the head swivel not only up and down, but in a side-to-side direction as well. It seems easy and possible given the design, and would make this lamp even more versatile. All in all it is absolutely lovely.
