Design by Enrico Franzolini and Vicente Garcia Jimenez, 2005.
The starting point for the Glow collection was the aesthetic expression of light splintering off titanium walls. Its inspiration stems from the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
Offered in white, red or aluminum finish, The Glow Pendant Light is a creative expression that provides ambient accent light. Suspended from a gloss chrome steel canopy. Fixture equipped with 78" of field-cuttable wire.
Shown in red.

Enrico Franzolini began his career as an artist and his work was known for its expression of sculptural elegance and an aesthetic refinement. He exhibited work at the Venice Biennale, as well as other exhibitions and galleries in the 1970s and then turned to design and received a degree in architecture in 1979. Like Vico Magistretti and many other designers in Italy, Franzolini has been active across the spectrum of creative fields from fine art to architecture to the various arts of the craftsman. He uses a variety of materials on both the large and small scale.
Franzolini's work epitomizes the integrity, the technical innovation and the ingenious forms for which Italian design has long been admired. In addition to his pictorial research, he spreads his commitment between architecture and industrial design fields and over the years he has been collaborating with some of the most prestigious companies in the furniture industry such as Cappellini, Foscarini, Knoll International, Moroso, Pallucco.See other lights/products from Enrico Franzolini

Pallucco, founded in 1986, is driven by design, research and communication. As a design company, Pallucco focuses on creativity, materials and processes, allowing its clients to create a setting that is unique and instantly recognizable - not lacklustre and indistinguishable from a thousand others. Their success has been forged in part due to some classic products: the bookcase designed by Wettstein and the great Fortuny and Papiro floor lamps.

Innovative, singular design
The Glow chandelier is a delightfully innovative product. It was a nice find for a space that we had worked hard to make unique but were frustrated by so many fixtures that were variations on a few common forms. It stands on its own without being overly assertive and is ideal for spaces not defined by symmetry. I'd argue that the aluminum panels could be a heavier gauge metal than was supplied and would add that the overall effect is better viewed from afar than close up. For me, the Glow is as contemplative as it is functional.
