This fixture is elegant and intricate all at the same time. Small touches like glass shades that go over the light bulb plus the decorative glass shades increase the beauty and subtle of the light quality. Delicate painting of a basket weave--imperceptible to the eye from a distance adds to finish of this piece. We have it over our kitchen table. Works well with our mix of traditional and modern finishes in the space. Does not overwhelm and still makes a statement. Only reason not a five star is that it does not come with bulbs and the sockets are mislabeled with the wrong bulb size so it took a few phone calls and trips to the lighting store to get that right. Gorgeous piece.
