We just installed two of the Piperita Wall sconces along our stairwell. We are updating a 1940's home and we want elegant, simple lights that are unobtrusive, but stylish and fun. This wall sconce fits the bill. My concern is that the light will be viewed from below while coming up the stairs, and from above while coming down, - so the Piperita's shade orientation should make the bulb less visible from those angles. Love it so far.

We completely renovated our master bathroom which included pushing our houses's outside wall out 5 feet to accompdate a soaking tub , adding a new cherry vanity with double sink and above double mirror , expanding our shower area to accompdate 2 persons-- each space separately tiled. The final piece was the 2 lighting fixtures aside the mirror, which is a very nice touch because they are classy looking . I can't tell yet whether they allow for dimmer, but the only criticism I have is that there is a horizontal seam in the metal part of the lamp which drew my eye at first (I didn't notice such online), which slightly detracts from the overall cohesion of the piece, but our contractor persuaded us otherwise saying he felt it was a perfect fit all around. So we let go and love it.

In renovating a historical home, the selection of lighting by the owner for a central hallway boiled down to a choice between the Piperita and Sally wall sconces, with both accommodating the owner’s contemporary style. The Sally model was finally chosen due to the complimentary blend of its shade profile with the historical design elements of the house.

While the Piperita did not win out in this project, it was a close call. The integrity of both fixtures is impressive as is the attention to detail by Flos. The return of the Piperita sconce to YLighting was also hassle free.

We just put 3 Piperita wall sconces in our basement and they are the perfect simple sconce! You've all looked at millions of sconces, right??? And most of them are pretty ugly, right??? This one is the perfect blend of simplicity and style. If I need more sconces, I'll probably just order more of the same!!!

You could tell that Flos is a high-end lighting manufacturer just the way the product was packaged. Some lighting comes shipped in cheap packing with styrofoam that takes days to clean up. This was beautifully wrapped and protected.

Desperate to find the right light for the recent renovation of my own kitchen, I somehow was lucky: I almost immediately found the Piperita wall sconce (with amber glass) on the YLighting web site. The proportions, the materials and the color were perfect for my a much-needed sconce to provide ambient lighting for the room. The light arrived ahead of schedule, securely well-packed, and in perfect order. My electrician had no problem installing the light and almost immediately the contractor's crew was admiring the fixture - and so has every visitor since. It's not a large light, but it's the only lighting fixture right for this space: the colors (amber shade, oiled bronze-like assemble) work ideally, and the more I look at the fixture the more I realize how well-detailed and intelligently designed the piece is. My only problem: when we sell the house do we take the fixture with us?

I tend to find the range of lights available online both bewildering and largely inappropriate for my needs. YLighting is something of a haven from the ghastly assortment of lights offered online. I have every intention of specifying this light again. It has the capacity to work with older interiors as well as contemporary spaces, it is unobtrusive and dignified, and it is well-priced and well-made. This light alone has made me know I can turn again to YLighting when I need the "right" fixture.
