    IC Shallow New Construction Housing for use with Five Inch Line Voltage Recessed Trims.

    Features:

    • IC rated downlight, suitable for direct contact with insulation.
    • Shallow housing ideal for use in 2" x 6" joist installations.
    • Order RGK gasket kit (sold separately) to ensure airtight installation.
    • Spring loaded door allows for easy access to wiring.
    • Supplied with eight standard knockouts and four integral non-metallic sheathed cable clamps.
    • Supplied with hanger bars adjustable to 25".
    • Hanger bars have score lines and can be cut to accommodate 12" joist spans.
    • UL listed for through branch circuit wiring.
    • Suitable for damp locations.

    UL Listed for through branch circuit wiring. For use with the pictured recessed trims only.

    My order arrived in just 2 days, with ground shipping! I have a Terrace above my living room therefore the space in the ceiling is only a few inches deep. This was the only recessed fixture I could find that would fit. Installation is same as regular recessed light fixture.
