    Great product

    The gasket kit comes with foil tape seals to cover and seal the interior holes within the housing as well as a narrow foam tape to seal the lip of the housing to the ceiling. The kit includes 6 foil tape pieces which is twice the number required. The foam tape is a straight black strip. The strip, since it is straight, doesn't go around the round trim easily but it does go on. The foam is black so it will show if the housing isn't pushed up tight to the ceiling.

    Gasket kit amounts to metal foil tape to cover holes inside lamp fixture and one side adhesive insulation strip that goes between lamp housing lip and sheetrock. Causes lip to raise just slightly against sheetrock. May get closer fit with latex caulk, but may not allow to removee later as easy.

    Returned it along with the wrong-size housing

    Nothing wrong with this item. Bought the wrong-size housing and have to return them along with the housing.
