I bought this floor lamp for the reading area in my den/office. I especially like the sleek no-frills design, the 3-way bulb capicity, the swing arm and the overall weight. I would buy the table lamp version (for my desk) if it was available in the same dark bronze color as the floor lamp version.

<p>I had been looking for lamps for my daughters bedroom that would both have a &quot;swing arm&quot; feature, so they could light a bed and comfy-chair, but also look youthful and contemporary. I found the Croft &amp; Little websit easy to use and was very pleased with the lamps when they arrived. The only negative note was that as I was attaching one shade it fell two feet onto the bed, but that was enough to cause very noticable scaring on the white shade. The shades are very fragile.</p>
