I ordered the Bruno light as a desk light to replace an old and once dependable but cheap light from Wal-Mart. As an architect I was looking for DESIGN and the Y Lighting catalog fulfilled that requirement. The Bruno light caught my eye and I ordered unaware that it would take weeks before delivery - these lights are made to order! Well worth the wait - just gorgeous to look at and to use with precision made components with a reassuring solidity and emphatic click to the switch. Could not be more pleased with my purchase.

<p>This is really a beautiful lamp, well constructed and solid. It&#39;s a knockoff of an old Kaiser Idell lamp from the 1930s, and a very faithful reproduction with modern convenience--two brightness settings that don&#39;t require a special bulb.</p><p>Shipping was fast, even though the site initially said it would take a few weeks. A really good experience overall.</p>
