The light fixtures have a tasteful modern style. Really like the dimmer switch. We ordered two, one of them the dimmer switch knob doesn't fit over the switch just right so it doesn't operate the switch. Hopefully some glue will fix that. The other fixture has some structural issues. Doesn't fit together tightly. This will take more extensive attention.

I am a huge fan of Robert Abbey lighting and have many lights in my house from them. The Wonton swing arm wall lamp is a great looking light but I could not get the shade level no matter what I did. I finally realized that the harp which is unique to this light was faulty and the side pieces were welded at different levels making it impossible to level the shade. I contacted Robert Abbey and they are sending a new harp so hopefully that will resolve the problem. This specific problem is a quality control issue, the lamp is made in China.

<p> I am so happy with this product. Not only are they sleek and beautifully made but we were so happily surprised to note they have a dimmer. The shade is sturdy and handsome. We have two on each side of our bed. We decided to match the knobs and handles on our custom closets with the same oil rubbed bronze finish as well as the ceiling fan finish. We waited a few weeks for delivery since they are made to order but it was well worth the wait. </p>

<p>these lamps (i bought two) are lovely, especially for the price - i even also bought the table version which is a success. however, both my swing arm lamps are defective - the built in dimmer in one does not function and the swing arm on the other was not attached securely in the manufacturing process and falls out of the socket - it can&#39;t simply be screwed back in now that the lamp is wired and the back plate attached. to end on a more positive note, croft &amp; little&#39;s customer service department has been extremely responsive and is working with the mfr to make all this right...then i would write a review like the others ...</p>

<p>The wall lamps we ordered turned out to be perfect. Not only are they aesthetically beautiful to look at, adding to the room&#39;s comfort and luxury. but they are also extremely functional. The arm allows you to adjust position for reading and lounging in bed. The shades add ambiance and class to the room. </p>

i love the design of the lamps (i also bought the table lamp from the same line) and for the price, they should be a good buy. however, of the pair i ordered, the dimmer on one did not work and the swing arm on the other had not been attached properly (and could not be secured, now that the lamp was wired and fully assembled) and after i hung the lamp on the wall, it promptly became detached from the base and simply hung held only by the internal wiring. the company does seem very willing to make things right, and since no other reviewer had anything but good things to say i hope my experience turns out to be an abberation. the only other thing i would mention is a screwdriver with a magnetized tip is almost essential when installing these lamps given the location of the screws. it can be done without it (i did) but it's not easy.
