    The Capri Collection by Jonathan Adler combines modern shaping with cheerful colors and Polished Nickel accents. This elongated gourd pendant is suspended from direct wire cable and exposed metal pins. Directed downlight is cast from an opening at the bottom of the shade, while ambient light glows from within the glass shade. Supplied with 11-feet white suspension cord. Select from Blue, Green, Grey, Orange, Purple, Red, Yellow, or White cased glass shade.

    Jonathan Adler found his calling the day he tried pottery in summer camp. He begged his parents for a wheel and a kiln and subsequently spent his adolescence in the basement of his family's modern home throwing pots. He allegedly went to Brown to study semiotics and art history, but actually spent all his time at RISD making pots. He moves to New York and after trying the movie business for a few years he returns to his calling and sells his first and pivotal order to Barneys New York. Now Jonathan Adler's eponymous company has grown to become an internationally recognized lifestyle and home furnishings brand offering tabletop, bedding, bath accessories, furniture, rugs, pillows and lighting. Pairing modernist forms with bold colors and groovy graphics.     blue-er than expected

    <p>and also bigger, tho neither of those two is a show stopper. Even tho I read the measurements online, I was still surprised by how big around the light was. Also, I beleive the picture they show online is with the light turned on, and that is when it glows a very pretty ice blue color. turned off it is almost a solid aqua. i still love the lamp very much and it looks really good above the island in our kitchen, I just wish I&#39;d been able to see an &quot;in real life&quot; shot of it before hand</p>

    Interesting and fun

    The orange pendant light we ordered gives our dull bathroom good light and a refreshing new look. My husbands not a huge fan... but what does that matter ;)

    good looking and goes with various "periods" of design.

    clean, good looking shape. nice polished nickel details. works with lots of different details. note, though, that the cool "ice blue" shade that's on line turned out to be intense turquoise-y blue in real life.
