It arrived quickly and in perfect condition - I've never seen a lamp packaged so well. The color is stunning - a bright pop of orange for my baby's nursery. The height of the lamp creates a nice elevation. I was surprised and impressed by the dimmer control on the lamp, which regulates the light output of any standard bulb. The dimming is continuous and not limited to 3 levels of light. The dimming control will be really nice for checking on the baby and late night feedings when we don't want the room too bright. If would definitely consider putting Jonathan Adler lamps in my master bedroom for the beautiful design and adding a bit of romance with the dimmers. A great purchase and well worth the money. Although we had the dimensions on line, the large size was much grander in person. we have pretty large night tables and the lamp took them over entirely. The large amounts of white masked all the other detail in the room. I have returned them and will get a smaller lamp.
