I purchased this wall boom for a sconce position 80" high that existed next to my client's home office desk. It's a great looking fixture, easy to install and very effective. It only takes 60W max so it's not the brightest room light but really great secondary light in space.

This fixture looks super and is very well constructed. Everything is adjustable and locks in to the position you want nicely. The light quality is beautiful. Waited 3 months for delivery which was a drag. But, worth the wait.

Awesome light, combines form and function. If you don't hardwire it, get some single cable raceway and make it look good. The light floats above subject and casts a thought provoking glow with the shade (you can tone the temp of light with bulb selection). The ability of the light to stay where you place it is pretty good within the extremes. Cool way to add more versatility of movement is to find or fashion a hook on weight to bring the shade lower (weight on end of boom) or higher up (weight added to boom counter weight).
