Joanthan Adler makes fun stylish sconces at an affordable price. Sconces are hard to find in my opinion. Thank god for Jonathan Adler.

The Jonathan Adler Parker Sconce is a great light fixture for a mid-century modern house. The grid is reminescent of decorative concrete block that was so prolific in architecture in the 1950 and 1960s. This grid pattern mimics the concrete block design on the front of the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs, California. The sconce gives good ambient lighting with the frosted glass pane. The maximum bulb wattage is only 60, so don't plan on reading a book with this lighting. If you're looking for soft, indirect lighting with a hip, mid-century look that complements contemporary interiors, then this may be a match for you.

This light is beautiful. My husband installs light fixtures for our home all the time. This one did not fit together well with all of the parts. The holes did not match up with where the screws need to go to put all the parts together. In addition, the screws they sent to attach the fixture to the wall were way to short. I had to go to a screw and bolt specialty shop 45 min away to get the appropriate size of screw. I bought two of these and we are paying an electrician to install the 2nd fixture to save my husband the frustration.

I am a huge fan of Jonathan Adler so I was excited to see these available through Y Lighting. These lights are really beautiful. We have three of these fixtures in our entry way; we tend to decorate with a combination of vintage mid century and contemporary and these fixtures fit in beautifully with either aesthetic.

<p>Parker Half Round sconce is stunning. Upon delivery I found one of the glass rounds broken so it was replaced. The problem is the replacement glass is 1) too long compared to its mate and 2) there are no screw holes in it like its mate. I still do not have proper replacement.</p>

You never know what you will get when you order lights online or by catalog, the photos can only act as a guide - how it will look in your space is a complete guess but these Parker Half Round Sconces looked ever better than I expected. This is a great light that would fit perfectly into any mid-century modern or contemporary home. Best used for ambient lighting, the light is soft behind the white diffuser while the metal screen lends a stylish touch. It was very easy to install - two sconces up in 20 minutes - and the instructions were clear. You will need two small base lightbulbs. It shipped very quickly and was well packed.

We were already a big fan of Adler, so this was a no-brainer. The lamp looks great in our foyer. The diffuser does a good job overall with a few soft beams shooting upward. We do have a very high ceiling in that area and it works well. Our furniture in general has chrome elements, so that was the option we chose.

I wish the grill was a bit thicker, which is my only complaint. But at the price at which it's offered, this is an excellent lamp.

According to my husband, it's "magical."

I am very satisfied with the purchase of this product. If your decorating your house modern then this sconce will fit in nicely. It's stylish and classy at the same time. This product to some time approximately 4 weeks for us to recieve. When I called Ylighting customer serivce they informed me that this product is made to order hence the long wait.
