I was pleasantly surprised that the product arrived slightly ahead of schedule. Everything arrived intact, and it is straightforward to install. I am sure professionals have some tricks, but at the end of the install, it was definitely a two person project for me. My wife needed to to hold the fixture in place as I secured it to the ceiling.

It gives great diffuse light throughout our home office. The brass and shade compliment our desk perfectly, it really finishes the room.

One thing to note for changing the light bulbs, you did need to remove the two bottom pieces, and this can be tricky to ensure that the overall piece does not spin as you do this. Since I only anticipate doing this once per year, it is really not a concern, just something to be aware of.

I would definitely buy this product again, and got great customer support from ylighting.

I would have given this fixture five stars if it had been simpler to install. Otherwise, it met all my expectations. I'm using it in a hallway and the light it produces spills over the top making it more than merely functional. It is elegant and would look wonderful with a variety of styles. I love it.

We used this fixture in coordination with the Saturnia Wall Sconces and they work flawlessly together. This light has the perfect brightness for the average room and when used with a dimmer it provides great ambient light.

I purchased this light for TV room and had a friend (handyman) to come over and install it. The weight of the piece plus the strange way they want you to install it makes it a two person job and even then, you better have an electrician or handyman.

Other than that, it is very nice looking. The price was VERY appealing as well.

I purchased the grey shade and it's a deep charcoal color at the edges but nearly transparent in the screen part of the shade so the light is still bright enough to illuminate my entry foyer. It's slightly larger than I expected but mounts tight to the ceiling so my doors clear the bottom of it.

It's very sleek and sophisticated. Had no issues with putting it up. It can definitely be a one man job. I purchased the stainless finish, but thought it might be too light in color for my hallway...I was wrong. When not lit, the metal is darker then I expected. It's also larger in height and width then I imagined. If you want something to stand out in a room/hallway, this flush mount is for you.

I ordered 2 of these fixtures for my entrance hallway. They arrived quicker than expected and look exactly how they did online. The diffuser is great, as it balances out the light from the 2 bulbs inside and warms the light from florescent bulbs. This is a heavy fixture so be prepared to hire a professional to install it or plan to have a second person help you, which isn't unusual for a ceiling mounted fixture. Overall I am very satisfied with this light and the service from YLighting.
