Jewelry is the inspiration for Rudi, a series of pendant lamps named after Lukas Peet's father, a jeweler. Rudi is made from bent metal tubes that hold the handmade cold cathode lamps. The fixtures are suspended from their cords which are hand-knotted around the tubes.
The Double Loop's steel tubing and canopy are finished in a warm satin brass.

Lukas Peet grew up in the small town of Canmore, an hour's drive west of the city of Calgary, Canada. In September of 2005 Lukas moved to the Netherlands where he was accepted into the Industrial Design program at the prestigious Design Academy Eindhoven. He graduated at the top of his class in May of 2009. After school Lukas returned to Canada. His studio, Lukas/Peet Design, is active in the fields of product design, interior design and graphic design. His work has been widely published, most notably in the January 2011 issue of Wallpaper* and the 2011 issue of Surface magazine, which named him a "Next Generation Designer." In 2011 and 2012 Lukas was a finalist in the D3 young design talents competition of the imm Cologne in Germany.
