Silk Road is a series of pendant lamps that explore the explore the layering of materials. The lamp is made of a spun-metal shade that sits atop a large piece of hand-blown glass, which surrounds a tapered wire cage and a traditional pleated fabric lampshade. It is a collage of disparate parts, which adds up to something both foreign and familiar.
Provides diffused and ambient illumination. Silk Road is available in three combinations: brushed copper shade, moss glass, cream wire cage; brushed brass shade, tobacco glass, cream wire cage; or Army green shade, smoke glass, blackened steel cage. All come with a pleated fabric inner shade.

Born in Tokyo and raised in New England, Jonah received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design in 2002. For several years, Jonah designed furniture that he built in a friend's studio while he played bass guitar, touring and recording with several indie rock bands.
