Philippe Starck's Rosy Angelis Floor Lamp is a modern day classic. It is as sexy as it is functional. Designed in 1994 for FLOS this lamp looks as good today as it did 14 years ago. There are not too many lights that can claim that. My one minor criticism would be the lack of an on/off switch. It has a dimming lever which can be used to switch off the light but there is no real feedback. Having said that I love it.

Love the light. Very modern and nice contrast of the soft fabric over the diffuser with the clean lines of the tapering tripod legs. Two small suggestions - this should come with an in-cord dimmer as well, and they need to tell you to iron out the creases in the fabric cover... Also think the diffuser should be in glass for a lamp of this price.

I love how sexy this lamp is. What I don't love is how it has never been a great, functional light for my bedroom. The light blinks constantly, the lovely cloth shade falls off with little effort, the on/off "switch" is unreliable. For this amount of money I expected more but I love the way it finishes my bedroom...at least in daylight!
