Fad features a solid dark wood structure with a hollowed out central section, which serves as the support for a white linen shade. The hollow section is closed off by the cross pieces of the base. Eight years later, he created his own design studio and since then he has based his career in Catalan and Spanish design. He has followed Bauhaus' rationalism, though he has based his aesthetics of his objects in the simplification of shapes and elements, in search for maximum functionality. His work has been the subject of several design shows and he has received several design awards for his work.
