The Veli Ceiling is a very smart design, that creates an absolutely beatiful fixture. We placed it in a foyer in a contemporary home.

I had not seen it in any showroom so was a botsuspicious about how it would look for real but I decided to take the chance and just return it if I didn't like it. I am glad I did, I love how it looks!

I installed the light in my dining room. It's beautiful and decorative. Everyone in my family is loving it. The only draw back is it's made of plastic instead of glass. Light tends to penetrate better through glass than plastic. The curly design under the flush mount also blocks a little bit of the light that's coming down from the ceiling. It's not bright enough for my dining room even when it's using the light bulbs with max watts. Overall, we love the design.

We ordered the Veli in plum for our bedroom; while the first one we received didn't work, Ylighting was fantastic about getting it back and replacing it. Now that it is up, we really like it. It is dramatic, flowy, and offers a good amount of light for the room. And it is much more interesting than a plain old ceiling fixture.

The graceful sea urchin look to this light grabs everyone's attention. It provides pop over a table without obscuring our water view. Light is abundant and the magnetic catches make it effortless to change bulbs.

This is made from a heavy weight plastic but it looks like glass. Very cool looking fixture.

We have this light in our bedroom. It is really pretty, both during the day with the light off and at night when illuminated. It is made of plastic, but does not look cheap. This also makes it lightweight and easy to hang. The main part of the fixture is easily removable to change the light bulbs.

Very decorative striking and somewhat larger that i had expected.... Completely didn't read the details and was surprised it was made from a synthetic plastic material. Beautiful but couldn't get over that it was not glass.
