this was actually a gift for my mother -- i have one already. I knew he would love it - she's in MA, so this is great to put out on the deck, with rain or snow.....no problem !
She loved the changing color...and the remote control made it easy to turn on and off.

We purchased this light and its corresponding remote for our outdoor patio furniture. It is really inventive and a great light. Would highly recommend these lights with the remote.

I really enjoy this light. I generally keep it on the multi-color setting & let it go through the differnt colors. It emits just enough light, so we can see, but not too much.

We love our new Stone LED lamp and will be buying more (in other shapes and sizes) because they're really cool lamps. However, as great and versatile as they are (float it in the pool!? How awesome is that?), you need to remove the batteries and recharge them after every ca. 10 hours of use. So they're good for parties and occasional use, but not as daily landscape lighting.
Set-up and functioning are straightforward and intuitive. Just know that pressing the button briefly causes color shifts (red to blue to green, etc.), but if you press and hold the button, the lamp switches to gradient color changes (red gradually turns to purple then blue, etc.). When you want to stop the gradient shift at a particular hue, just push the button again.
