The Apollo collection, inspired by the god of light, is luminous, reflective, shimmering transparence?simple, yet mysterious. It lends a sophisticated air to living and dining areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, entry areas and landings. This collection creates a contemporary touch in your home or architecturally inspired space. Apollo?s mercury-coated glass ball reflects its outside surroundings and radiates the luminance of its clear filament lamp (not included) from within.

The Apollo Pendant Light is offered with a polished chrome finish and a half-mercury glass shade. Features a 10 foot adjustable cord and provides diffused, ambient lighting.

Robert Sonneman

As of one of the pioneers for modern lighting, Robert Sonneman helped to make it into an art form. World renowned and acclaimed for clean lines and alliance to form and function, his world-famous, award-winning designs have been at the forefront of the design world for over four decades.

Robert introduced sleek, new functionalist lighting designs in the 60s and 70s that have become classics of the modern era. Sonneman's sensibilities and prolific design vocabulary extend through the modern architectural and decorative genres of the 20th century and forward to the contemporary diversity of the 21st. Since 1967 Robert's work has been displayed by the Museum of Modern Art, Chicago Art Institute, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, UCLA Exhibition on Design, Karnette County Art Museum and the Houston Contemporary Arts Museum. Robert has participated and lectured at Stanford University, Pratt School of Architecture, Parsons School of Design, Philadelphia College of Art and UCLA. He was also a contributor on Chrysler and Toyota projects at the Art Center, Pasadena College of Design, and served on the Nissan Design Advisory Board.

In Sonneman's current lighting collection are over a thousand designs ranging from Warm Contemporary and Ornamental Modernism styles to Modernist and LED luminaires. The product is great!!!

The product as well as the service was great, I unfortunately made a mistake on the size of the pendant light and had to return it, however, there is no dought that I will be getting my new pendant light from ylighting.

Not accurately portrayed in photograph

This product does not have a frosted globe as depicted in the image. The bottom portion of the globe is clear, which for me is unacceptable and now I must pay shipping to send the fixture back.
