    Great light for reading. Small and unobtrusive.

    smaller than expected

    This is a sturdy reading/task light. It's a lot smaller than expected (the head of the lamp) and not very tall. It's perfect next to a chair for reading, but not very functional next to a desk or for general illumination. The light quality is bright and clear, and there is a convenient button instead of a switch to turn it on two different light settings. Overall, it's a good lamp for our needs.
