The only things is that this may not give you the best brightness if you are really looking for something to lighten the room significantly

I purchased this light to replace a ceiling fan in a rather large room and was concerned the footprint of the 20" light was not going to support the space as the only light in the room. It turns out the light is more than capable of that as well as offering a very warm diffuse type of light that works very well in a larger space. I am going to buy another one for a different room that has similar needs.

We recently installed this light in our small-ish kitchen which has details from many eras which adds difficulty to our choice of fixture. As much as I really like the fixture I do have 2 small gripes which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars: 1) I wish I did not see the intensity of the 2 bulbs as much as I do 2) I wish it was brighter. Having said that, this light singlehandedly cleaned up and simplified the kitchen--an aspect which was our top priority and I'm happy with our decision.

I would recommend you draw out the dimensions of this light. Its actual dimensions are nothing like what it appears in the pictures. In reality it is small!!! Returned it...

great. The 2x75w is just right for a room roughly 12x12, but wouldn't go smaller.

I've gotten a bunch of compliments on this fixture. I actually have several in various colors mounted in a row. Make sure people can get back from them a bit to appreciate the colorful bases. Great outside or inside kids rooms or a long hallway.

I bought this light for my small kitchen, it looks good, I chose the blue (favorite color). The light is modern and low key, which is what I wanted. Overall I was very satisfied with this purchase! If I had a complaint it would be that there were no instructions, so if you're a homeowner, you need someone that knows what they're doing to install.

Haven't actually installed it yet but I am pleased with the quality of glass and the base construction. As I am not an electrician but know ,to varying degrees, how to install a light fixture - so long as I'm supplied with directions - it is a bit irritating that no directions are supplied with this product. Also, as I have yet to install the unit, the jury is still out on the quality of even light distribution I will get from the light. I'll try and write again when I install - as I have found the other reviews quite helpful in my shopping experience

As advertised - nice bright light. We set them up on dimmers. You can see the lightbulb shapes but if you're going more for functionality vs. aesthetics this fits the bill (and the design is not offensive - bordering on boring in the clear/white).
