This brushed nickel canopy adapter replaced the current white adapters I have. The adapter is plastic, not metal, but the finish is fine. Very satisfied.

This allows for a track fixture to be used in a stationary location without a track.

From a distance this looks like a quality product but it does not feel as sturdy as the round one that is sold for the L series track I have ordered. Once it is on the wall/ceiling it does not matter.

Using these in place of track will allow me to use track fixtures in several areas of mynew home where a track would not work.

Very useful component for building small portable halogen accent spots -- lampwire, plug, and utility box from the hardware store, this canopy adapter, and an inexpensive H-track fixture, and voila! Two have worked perfectly out of the box.

I looked for a simple wall sconce for a long time but couldn't find one that didn't call attention to itself. A YLighting rep suggested using this together with a simple line voltage fixture that I was using elsewhere in my house. It was a perfect solution.
