The roots of Axis71 can be traced back to 1971, when it started out as a gallery in Paris. Thirty years later, Patrick Vossen expanded the company with a lot of enthusiasm. Axis71 is now based in Hoegaarden, Belgium. The company is quite literally illuminating; their newest collection of design lighting will indeed provide a clearer view. The design team at Axis71 invests all of their passions and craftsmanship in the development of the lamps. Axis71 counts on the craftsmanship of head designer Stéphane Lebrun to inspire many of their lighting collections. Axis71 has also collaborated with designers Henriette Michaux and Christophe Gevers to create a variety of unique lighting options. Not only quality and design are important values for Axis71, but they also make an effort to protect the environment. They've replaced the traditional incandescent bulb with a more eco-friendly option as well as providing packaging consisting of recycled and or recyclable material.
