Modern lines that feel classic already.
Everything about this fixture says quality and hipness. I hung two lights at the same height above my kitchen counter. They look absolutely beautiful. My electrician said in all his years, these were the best quality pendants he had ever installed. I love the weight of the glass and the cone-like black ceiling fitter. With the chrome covered bulbs (which come with the fixture) the light emitted is more mood light, not work light. The photo in the YLighting site is slightly misleading in that there is another suspension wire needed (a high quality suspension wire) to hold the heavy fixture. This makes it a little less clean looking than the photo. But if you make an "s" curve with the heavier tube (shown straight in the photo), it looks very cool and aesthetically pleasing. Couldn't be happier.

Love Tom Dixon's work and these pressed glass fixtures are amazing. The glass is a little green but it speaks to the origin of the fixture. Note that the glass is rather heavy but it give that feeling of quality that will last a life time.....heirloom quality.
All of TD's pieces feel like collectors items. I used an antique Edison style bulb which created even more depth in the glass when lit.
