After much researching we decided that we liked the simplistic yet contemporary style of this light. The amber murano glass defuses the light beautifully and the whole effect of the 2 lights situated over the kitchen island adds a touch of class to our newly renovated kitchen.

The shape of this pendant shows off the beauty that comes from simplicity. The frost finish on the interior of the glass adds warmth and a softness to the clean unadorned lines of this light.

We've had these before in a previous house and actively sought them out for our new kitchen. We have three of them in a row above the bar area of the kitchen island and they really pop out. Cheaper versions you can see through and see the bulb but you can tell tell this is expensive and handblown glass.

My wife and I bought three of these in amber, to use as pendants over a seven foot long dining table. Since the glass is translucent and warm colored (amber), combined with a dimmer switch, we have a lot of control over the ambiance. Changing from recessed ceiling down lights to pendants was a dramatic improvement, really helping to visualy define the dining area and separate it from the rest of or modern, open floor- plan house. Really recommend the silver freejack plates instead of the white ones, as the silver contrasts nicly with the white ceiling.

It is a great splash of color in our kitchen that changes the look of the room depending on the time of day. It is not too overbearing in the space but adds the perfect amount of ambient lighting.
