The stainless steel design feels solid and gives the fixture a modern look. The rectangular base is thicker (1 1/4") than I would like making the fixture stick out from the wall. I would like more rather than less light. A: The incandescent version will produce more light than the fluorescent version of the Metro. The combined lumen output of the incandescent is 2240 lumens, the fluorescent has an output of 1750 lumens, and you can dim the incandescent version if you want to.
