I would have rated a 3.5 star but that wasn't an option so I went with 3 stars based on the overall experience. First off, the website is user friendly and ordering online was easy. I ordered two amber fire pendants to replace two blue pendants the previous homeowner had installed with his kitchen color scheme. For some reason only one pendant was shipped. I called and spoke with customer service (twice) and the second pendant was shipped about a week later. Since the canopies were already installed, cutting the cables to length and connecting the lights was pretty straight-forward. I appreciate that these lights are handmade "works of art" and each pendant truly looks great...by itself. Unfortunately together they looked mismatched which distracts from the overal appeal. Has nothing to do with smal imperfections in the glass. It's strictly about color variation. One is a dark amber and one is light amber. If I saw the two sitting side by side in a store I would not have purchased them as a pair. This is probably not an issue on the darker color shades. The two dark blue shades I replace looked identical in color. We love the "light within a light" look. Great contemporary design and something you're not likely to see in any of your friends homes. They come with 50 watt bulbs. I went to Home Depot and bought two 35 watt bulbs to tone them down a bit. Given the transparent color of the shades, this made them much softer on the eyes.

I ordered these lights (3) to go over our bar at our home in CO. I am not an electrician but I did not find them difficult to install. The instructions are clear and it probably took me a total of 2 hours to hang all 3. (Cutting the very long cable to the right size was very easy.) But no matter who hangs them the end result is simply beautiful. My fiancee just LOVES them and our guests have seen them have all commented on how great they look.

Could not be more pleased with how these look in our new kitchen. The glass quality is very high. Install was straightforward but does take some care in making lo volt connections.

The Fire pendant is great for mood lighting with color. The fit and finish are good, though the plastic in the Freejack connector needs to be handled carefully lest it crack. One issue is to clean the fixture and not leave fingerprints is a bit of a challenge since you have to clean the fixture's inside surface as well. Either find a lint-free cleaning wand or get someone with small hands to help.
