This is not the canopy immediately suggested by the website, but one which is very low profile. The suggested canopy is bulbous and not suited, to my eye, to the Summit light I purchased. This flush canopy is barely there, which is just right.

We used 3 of these for hanging pendant lights over a 7 foot long dining table. The brushed satin nickel finish was a nice contrast to the flat white color of the ceiling. Having the line voltage-to-low voltage transformer recessed into the ceiling makes for a very clean and sleek look.

<p>We used the Wilmette line to light out kitchen and living room. You could see when taking the components out of the boxes that these were quality items. Our electrician said it was some of the easiest lighting to install because the usual &quot;pain in the butt&quot; items never occured. </p><p>I didn&#39;t like the cost per item - seemed expensive to me but realized we paid for what we got, quality! We recovered some of that expense by not having to pay our electrician to solve problems that we might have had if the components and the system as a whole hadn&#39;t been thought out and executed so well.</p>

I placed my order with Y Lighting for four canopies, four pendants & four shields & everything arrived intact except for one of the Freejack Canopies. It was quickly sent out but it held up the installation & the work of my electrician. All if fine now.

I thought the price of the freejack canopy was too expensive on top of the pendants & shields & I almost had to cancel the order & shop somewhere else.
