I wanted to get a larger table and that meant that I would have to break my ceiling to move the electric to the center of the new table. With the monorail the electric stays on one side and the rail brings the electric accross the ceiling and the pendant lights are evenly spaced over the table. No drilling with the self drilling ceiling anchors . Just screw the anchor into the ceiling and then attach the standoff base to the anchor with the one screw provided .
