TECH Lighting

TECH Lighting is North America's premier designer of architectural lighting systems. TECH's products are unique thanks to their quality and attention to detail, making TECH a great solution for both residential and commercial applications.

What began as a Chicago lighting showroom in 1983 evolved into an industry-leading manufacturer. Over the years, TECH Lighting became famous for its low-voltage track lighting systems, such as MonoRail, Kable Lite, and TwinRail.

This tradition of excellence continues with the introduction of T-trak™, winner of the Lightfair 2003 Design Excellence Award for most innovative new product. T-trak is the first-ever hand-bendable, line-voltage track lighting system. This revolutionary system features a sleek metal track that can be curved in the field to form practically any shape, while simultaneously providing powerful and versatile illumination options.

These systems are complemented by a wide range of pendants, wall sconces, bath lighting, chandeliers, ceiling fixtures, picture lights, and more. TECH's commitment to innovation, design and craftsmanship is evident in every component, from their rail and cable, to signature glass, to the smallest hardware detailing.

Beautiful, though pricey

These fixtures are beautifully made and nicely finished. Make sure to choose the canopy that includes the low-voltage transformer, unless you have one installed elsewhere. They're pricey little guys, but really nicely made and a unique solution for an area that requires a single spot.

Love the look. Hope it lasts.

This was a replacement for another spot head that got fried. Wires melted and it shorted out. 4th time it's happened - I have many heads in the house. Love the look but I'm forced to buy another to keep it all looking uniform. Tech lighting won't stand behind what seems like a manufacturer's defect. Bummer.

Looks great. Bright light. Gets hot though!

Had to buy 3 more to replace some I had previously. They get so hot it melts wiring then shorts out. Take a few years to do that though... long enough to be outside of the manufacturers warranty, which is a bummer. Tried replacing old ones through Tech lighting, but they won't stand behind them. Seems it's a constant problem as I have had 4 lights do this. But gotta replace since I will have dark spots if I don't. Not sure I'd recommend based on company not standing behind product that melts when used under normal circumstances.
