The head of the fixture - one of four my client owns - experienced a meltdown, literally, in that the plastic piece (which holds the connectors that the bulb's prongs insert into) melted, lost shape and the connection began to fail. The bulb would flicker and go out. Cleaning the prongs, changing bulbs did no good. I would have liked to be able to change just the head (it all comes apart) but could not find that on your website. The new telescope was exactly the same except for the plastic spacers that hold the two rods apart which were oddly different. Fortunately the old ones were still viable and I was able to exchange them and retain the same look.
