The Fluid Round Ceiling Light from TECH Lighting is created by pouring molten glass into a contoured mold, letting it cool, and then fire-polishing it to a glossy finish. It gives the impression of flowing water frozen in time. The unique and elegant look of the piece changes at every angle based on how light hits the surface of the glass. Available in two sizes, Small and Large and with three lamping options. Incandescent version is dimmable with a standard incandescent dimmer and the LED version is dimmable with a low-voltage electronic dimmer (sold separately). ADA compliant. Our sensibility is modern, and much of the renovation is quite modern (including new lighting). In our entrance hallway, odd-shaped, with traditional crown molding and base molding, I wanted to replace a 1920s ceiling fixture (embossed grapevines on a glass globe) with something with a more modern feel, but that wouldn't clash with the traditional molding.
