Great minimalistic bath light that runs on halogen bulbs. Light distribution is really good. I only wish the cover was easier to remove (requires screwdriver) so future changing of bulbs would be more straightforward.

Overall, I really like this minimalist bath light. It looks great above the vanity in our bath and the halogen lamps provide a great deal of light (albeit very warm at low settings - but this is a halogen characteristic. The frosted glass shade is solidly made. A couple of minor nitpicks:it's a bit hard to get the chrome (in my case) cover to stay securely attached to the mounting base (the part that's screwed to the wall). Pushing lightly on one corner or the light or the other will cause it to slip, and cranking down the set screws causes the trim face to deform slightly. Also, when the light is on, there are bits of glue residue visible on the interior edge, where the glass meets the metal end caps. Again, minor nitpicks. Overall, an excellent looking modern fixture.

PIcking out the bathroom wall sconce was the hardest lighting fixture to deal with as everything just seemed really cheesy, or bulky, or had an awful fluorescent lightbulb inside. I even went to Lee's in NY and couldn't find anything that was remotely suitable.

But this light is perfect! We actually got 2, one for above each of the sinks in our double vanity unit. It might not be "salon-grade" task lighting (acc to our architect) because it's incandescent, but it's the perfect mix of modern (the fixture itself) and traditional (softer lighting).

Another good thing about it is it's not too bulky - it doesn't project much off the wall and it's not too wide vertically.

This is an attractive, well-priced fixture; ideal for over a fixed mirror. Installation is very straight forward, but make sure your electrician takes a minute to look at the mounting plate before installing the junction box in the wall. The orientation of the box should be coordinated with the rectangular base of the fixture, so the base fully conceals the box. The included fluorescent bulb is cooler than I'd prefer. I'll be replacing it with a warmer tone one. It'd be nice if a choice of color temperature was offered when ordering.

Using 2 of these lights in our children's bath and they are a great junior size companion to the LBL Dover in our master bath. Good quality metal and glass. Energy efficient fluorescent option is the way to go. Beware of American Fluorescent Co. products which are painted plastic and definitely not made here, either.
