Design by B. Baylar, 2009.
Made in Italy, by Terzani.

Seemingly alive, Atlantis shimmering light creates a vibrant source of energy. Its mesmerizing, organic effect is created by hundreds of illuminated lengths of draped chain. Like water in the ocean, Atlantis chains appear liquid, cascading over its polished bands and falling down towards the abyss before turning back into itself.

Hand-crafted by master Italian artisans. Each piece is individually numbered and unique.

Wall sconce creates a curtain of ambient and decorative illumination. Available in choice of finishes.

Barlas Baylar

Barlas Baylar is a well-known New York City furniture designer who specializes in minimalist designs that bring natural elements to modern aesthetics. Originally getting his start in his family's manufacturing business, Barlas soon discovered his heart was in the final product, not the process. Soon after, he began working in production design on a Ridley Scott film set but shortly thereafter, in 3004, Barlas Baylar started his own company Hudson. Utilizing all-natural-antiquated materials, his furnishings join modern design with industrial details. His sculpture-like pieces are handcrafted in his Bushwick, Brooklyn studio.

Terzani

Terzani began as a creative design and production laboratory for lighting objects, with roots in the noble craft traditions of wrought iron, carved wood, and Murano glass. In 1985, Sergio Terzani met Jean-Francois Crochet, an experienced Parisian designer. Together, they updated the craft culture, presenting it from a contemporary design angle. The end result has been "Luce Pensata": lamps and objects as lighting sculptures, no longer accessories or cold technical supports, but the animated, vital protagonists of living areas, with a completely original and identifiable character.
