Carpyen

Carpyen began as a family enterprise in Spain in 1954 when designers Antonio Carpintero and Encamacian joined forces. 20 years later, Roberto Capintero joined the team, leading to a dramatic shift in the direction and design focus of Carpyen. Then, Pascual Salvador and Gabriel Teixido, renowned for their industrial contemporary eye, were asked to bring their unique talents to Carpyen. The result was the cutting edge Carpyen Galilea Lamp. One of the first and most famous designs, the Galilea Lamp became the recipient of the distinguished Delta Prize Silver by ADI FAD in 1994. Carpyen is a founding member of the SIDI design group in Barcelona and continues to produce unique and contemporary pendants, ceiling lights and table lamps of the highest caliber.
