just like the 4 light bar, they work as advertised

We used this, in polished chrome, for our kitchen over-sink lighting on a dimmer switch and are very happy with the way it blends in with the stainless appliances.

We purchased these lights for our kitchen remodel. They were easy to install, and they give off the perfect amount of light, whether it is to add to the overhead lighting for counter tasks, or alone as a night light. They are sleek and attractive, not distracting from the design or decor.

It is nice to see a light that fits so well under cabinets and is easily concealed while giving great light.

The finish is great and the xenon light is so much better than the flourescent that was replaced. The slim profile is another plus, so the fixture is tucked into the recess under the cabinet and it's not readily visible (but the nice finish almost makes you want to show it off). As a designer, I highly recommend these fixtures for undercabinet task lighting.

I bought the 2, 3, and 4 "line voltage xenon light bars"...so far I am love the low profile unit--not noticeable at all like some of the others out there. It seems to be a good choice for my new cabinets. YLighting does not stock replacement bulbs for these so hopefully that will be in the near future. Bottom line, I am pleased and love the satin nickel look.

I bought one of these several years ago for under cabinet lighting above my sink, and when I moved recently and remodeled my kitchen, I purchased two more for the same reason. They're well-made, look great, and work as intended. Installation (either hard-wired or with optional cord to outlet) is a snap. The bulbs do run hot, and if you use them as under cabinet lighting, you will not want to store items affected by heat in the cabinet space directly above them. The frosted glass panes diffuse the light a bit and give it a slightly less white color. Replacement bulbs are also a bit pricey, but I've have not had to replace them often enough to be a problem. Lastly, Ylighting's customer service is fantastic. Several bulbs were missing from the items I received, and after a quick phone call to customer service, new ones were on their way to me immediately, no questions asked.

I bought the 4 light Xenon lights earlier, and came back for the two more three-light under-counter light systems. They were easy to install (once you get the two screws down for mounting, I wish there was a better mounting system, but they are generally the same for most units. They perform well, have a high and low switch, and are very effective. The low profile let me install them in a perfect position, and they are very good lighting systems. We did this as a homeowner project, and it was a terrific, inexpensive upgrade for our kitchen.

This is the second time I bought these lights for undercabinet lighting in the kitchen. I spent a lot of time looking for something that would give off a nice light, wasn't too expensive, and has a low profile so as not to stick out under the cabinets. These were the best option and I love them (obviously since I put them in two different kitchens). They are also a breeze to install however I would recommend buying some shorter screws because the ones they come with are too long for cabinets. As expected from xenon lights they do get pretty warm after they've been on a while.

The Xenon three light bar for under cabinet lighting is exactly what I was looking for in our new kitchen remodel. I wanted ambiance lighting rather than task lighting and these bars are perfect. They offer soft light which leaves no glare when they shine down on my granite and do not heat up the base of the cabinet where they are attached. They were suggested by a designer friend and I'm glad I made this purchase.

We liked the fact that this light is regular voltage and doesn't need a transformer. It can be hard wired or just plugged into an outlet.

slim design, line voltage xenon; works well in a retrofit application.

Produces good light. Thin profile keeps it hidden. The construction quality is decent.
I just installed these in my kitchen under the counter and I am very happy with them.

We had ordered the same style light bars a few years ago (when they were only available in halogen) and we liked those so much we ordered these for another part of our house. The halogen version gets a little warm, so I am looking forward to these not creating so much heat.

The design flaw is that the knock outs are not centered. I prewired without knowing this, so this made the installation more challenging.
Beyond that, these are great lights..

I was looking for a sleek, affordable light to put under the cabinets in my kitchen. I found this product to be clean and efficient and was easy to install. It gives great light and fits under the cabinet perfectly.

We chose to order a three light bar based on the information given. We were told that the bulbs were 25 watt. They are not. We didn't want 100 watts above our sink so we went with the smaller 3 light bar. Now we only have 60 Watts above the ink. If I had been given the choice between 60 and 80 I would have gone with 80-which would have been 4 bulbs. I like the light, but am frustrated with not having had the right information to make an informed decision. We actually paid more this way because we paid for shipping.
