All those old bottles arranged so perfectly and capturing the sunlight and mimicking the bottle ends with recycled steel circles of varying sizes filled with recycled glass discs. Rarely before has a design based in "old" seemed so powerfully new. Hand-forged steel has 70% or greater recycled content. Low-VOC finish. Recycled glass. Like a past review said, it's bright, I solved that by using a dimmer switch with the light but you could put in bulbs with less wattage. I had my electrician install it and adjusting the height was very simple. I'm very happy with the light, it's different and interesting. The funky design, plus the rough finish give it an industrial modern kick (we have a 1950s split level). Three bulbs (we're using 75 watt incandescents) are bright so make sure you have a dimmer. Why not 5 stars? Well, I'm a hard grader to begin with, so take this with as much salt as you need: it's not the easiest to hang, requiring two people (and a third to judge height was helpful), and the clips that are to be used to keep the electrical wire attached to the structural airplane wire are useless (but clear cellophane tape works fine). Also, I'm fine with the rough finish of the paint, but it wasn't apparent to me in the photos online -- just know this is not a polished looking product, more like an acid-washed jean than new denim. The other thing not clear in the photos is that not all the circles have glass in them. As long as you are aware of what you're getting, and once it's set up, I think you'll love it. We do.
