    Masquerade is a series of nested Zorro-inspired masks, artfully handcrafted of recycled steel. The Pearl finish simply shimmers; the Statue Garden finish transforms from gold to bronze to green depending on your angle.

    Available in pearl or statue garden finishes. UL Listed for dry location.

    Lighting by way of the B-2 bomber and the B-52’s? That’s the gist of Ron Henderson’s story. An aerospace engineering student by day and a DJ by night, Ron graduated from Auburn before spending time in the Air Force and at Boeing. A chance airport encounter led him to lighting, where he worked for multiple companies before founding Varaluz in 2006.

    Varaluz was born of the belief that lighting should be both interesting and sustainable. Varaluz hand-crafts fixtures the old fashioned way out of eco-responsible materials.

    Hand-crafting lends texture and personality that Ron feels cannot be achieved through mass-manufacturing. When not immersed in the throes of a lighting introduction, Ron geeks out on everything design-oriented and has a more-than-slight obsession with shoes and watches.
