I bought this lamp for an akward corner in my MYC apartment where I have limited room. I really like the dual function aspect. I have a recliner directly underneath the light, and use it for both general room lighting as a reading light.

Unusual lamp, for the right lighting design spot.
This lamp is the same high quality as the other Pablo lamps. But it's quirky design has limited applicability. The roller shade is nice (and matches the white fabric used in the rectangular Pablo lamps) and the light bulbs can be aimed up or down. The mounting hardware is well made, but one side is more attractive than the other (at the top, where it mounts). I wish the hardware was a bit more refined, but the light it casts is attractive and has an adjustable dimmer. So, if you have a spot where the lamp will be seen from mostly one side, or you want a swing out light, this lamp is worth considering. Very easy to install.
