After an extensive search for the "perfect" ceiling fixtures for a small central hub-like hallway in my contemporary style condo, I settled on the Quadra Ice - simple, elegant, unobtrusive and understated but unmistakably exceptional. Installation was easy, however, it took an extra person to hold the fixture (without the glass attached) while I wired it and screwed it to the ceiling box. I opted for the compact fluorescent version for reduced bulb temperature and placement closer to the ceiling.

It's often difficult to discern the actual quality of fixtures based on the idealized photos so I ordered one Quadra first (of three I would need) in the event it didn't meet my expectations and would need to be returned. Thankfully, it did and I've ordered the additional fixtures. Granted, it's a pricey fixture but I felt a worthwhile investment for my home.

Unlike some online orders I've placed at other companies, the shipping packaging was superb and well-protected the product.

A tremendous improvement over old fluorescent fixtures in our basement, this light is beautiful and elegant, casting a warm diffuse light and lighting up the area around the fixture in an interesting way. It is an ideal fixture where the ceilings are not high, as it hugs the ceiliing and blends into the white ceiling. The large size is the best, as the larger the piece of glass is, the more interesting the installation becomes. We have put one in every room and would recommend the large version highly.
