This fixture has a very low profile and is good for tight spaces. The bulbs are close to the glass so you see slight hot spots.

This light is shallow and good for areas where you have very little clearance. There are subtle hot spots from the bulbs but it is not offensive. Overall a good multipurpose fixture.

I was looking for a simple round surface mounted light for a powder room with a low ceiling. This one is perfect, well designed and casts just the right amount of light. The service from Y-Lighting was excellent.

i purchased this fixture for my kitchen ceiling. i ordered the compact fluorescent version.

The fixture is beautiful and well made but the light output is very low about like a 15w incandescent which isn't enough light for a room, it would be better as accent wall light. If i had it to do over again i would have ordered the halogen version which i would imagine has better light output.

Also be aware the lamp isn't like a normal compact fluorescent, its a hockey puck shape and hard to find. I ordered it online for around $10, which isn't too bad considering it will last 10,000 hrs.

We used three Puck halogen lights for the ceiling in our MBR. The light has a slender shape and hugs tight to the ceiling. It cast a beautiful, but unobtrusive light. Absolutely stunning!

We are happy with the design of the lamp and the light it diffuses. The only issue is the way the glass is connected to the base. There are some metal clamps which are VERY hard and tight to push in order to get the glass over. We are a little concerned when we are going to need to change the bulb.

The problem is not as intense with the small puck light.

This is the smaller version of the puck light. It looks great in our smaller bathroom. The metal grips that hold the glass were WAY easier to work with than the larger model. Happy with our purchase. We are thinking of getting a third one for our other bathroom!

I would not suggest buying this product. The fastening mechanism is difficult to use and the clips have already chipped the lip of the light itself. Someone needs to redesign this.

The CFL bulbs are very hard to find. After considerable time searching online, I asked YLighting customer support. They referred me to two websites, neither of which actually carried the bulb. I'm very disappointed, and especially with customer support that's not useful. YLighting, if they're in the business of selling fixtures with exotic bulbs, should stock the bulbs.

I was concerned the light would be too dim because of the low voltage but it isn't. The model I ordered is incandescent and the light it gives out is warm and golden, like a full moon. It sits flat to the wall and is very similar to the Arne Jacobsen Discus series lights but at a fraction of the price.

I liked the light onlin and purchased it for the hallway. I knew it was small and needed it for a small space so I had no issue with that. When I tried to but the bulb I realized that they were hard to find and speciality build stores carried them but they were very expensive. In my opinion for a hallway light the fixture was expensive and then coupled with the hard to find, expensive bulb it wasn't worth it.
